Sketch Design Studio

Having spent initial years of her life in culturally rich Lucknow, Shipra grew up studying or working in places like Panchgani, Mumbai & London. She started exploring different cultures and is extremely fond of history. She has always been enthusiastic about reviving archaic art forms and craft techniques. Shipra graduated as an Interior and Spatial Designer from University of the Arts London and Rachna Sansad, Mumbai and has worked with many recognised institutions and designers like Ashiesh Shah, Wallpaper* Magazine to name a few. Sketch Design Studio is a small sized, creative practice which specialises in interior & spatial design for a variety of projects. Founded in January, 2014 by Shipra Singhania Sanghi, this studio is her vision and reflection of her design principles. We start our work by studying the client themselves and understanding specific requirements and aesthetic values. While rooted in the philosophy of minimalism, playing with simple clean lines in the background and establishing focus using craft techniques, which we achieve while working with local artisans. This amalgamation of two diverse design sensibilities & constantly working towards exploring use of new materials and techniques helps us provide a unique output in our designs. We have based our workspace in Rajasthan and currently do projects pan India.
