McTerra Architects

McTerra is an architecture practice based in Kochi, Kerala founded by architects Josu B Sebastian and Collin Jose Thomas, that mainly make buildings and also take up projects in interesting parameters. Now, it is we who should consider and understand the overall cyclic process of Architecture related to Earth and its related surroundings. Our practice is a way through which we can explore and unite multiple quizzing simultaneously. We believe in each project there is an opportunity to analyze, search, discover, and react. We at our Studio practice pure Architecture with values, we will also discover the unexpected for sure! Each context has to be considered to have a relationship with the physical and social condition of its surroundings Thus we combine a happy and sensitive approach to design with respect for the context into which each project is to be executed. We look at the design as Interweaving of Spaces; a series that is to be weaved for the betterment of the individual as well as the society. We create and recreate zones to work together by the addition and combination to achieve a whole that works in conjunction with human-created networks. We also play with the natural systems of growth and decay, above all, the sun, wind, and rain.
