About Project
A home that creates a relaxing environment, where the family of doctors can unwind after a hard day’s work – This design brief gives Roca Milagro its charming form and identity. Sitting on a 9281 sq.ft. plot, this two-storeyed home is inspired from Spanish architecture due to the client’s frequent travels there. Not just the form, but also their integration of light, air and nature merges with Kerala architecture principles and vernacular elements to create a modern home that exists in harmony with nature. Existing conditions and context set in motion the zoning of spaces, and the layout follows. All spaces overlook the courtyard. While the rooms are thoughtfully designed, the terraces, verandahs, transition spaces, corridors, and sit-out areas together create an inviting environment that adds rhythm to its architecture. The courtyard with a pond, the living room, the terrace, and the transition spaces are some key highlights of the project.
