Located in a gated community in Indore, surrounded by houses on two sides, the architects reimagined a fort, crafting a smaller yet authentic version for this unique residence. This single-story house feels grand, featuring double-height living and dining spaces with expansive openings to the courtyard, ensuring daylight throughout. A spacious deck overlooking the lawn enhances the fort-like experience. The house incorporates numerous fort-inspired elements, such as tapered walls, thick fort-like structures, strategically placed openings, intricate inlay flooring, and more, creating a harmonious blend of historical charm and contemporary design.
