The Brick House

The Brick House includes multiple contexts of climate, landscape, and materiality to create a spatial experience that is constantly evolving and engaging. This house is divided into two residential blocks, with a steel trellis connecting the two. The project engages with tectonics, sun, and shadow, creating a pattern on the wall in response to the position of the sun. The brick patterns create an aesthetic that is dynamic as well as static.
