The Brick Box

Tucked away in a compact space measuring 16 x 40 feet, the Brick Box in Kolhapur showcases the essence of regionalist architecture. Using materials and design techniques inspired by the Waada style, it's a celebration of neoclassical craftsmanship. Here, the architect demonstrates a stylish and practical design in a densely packed neighborhood. Amidst the myriad obstacles posed by its surroundings, the scarcity of light and ventilation loomed large, confined by adjacent walls, the design explores creative solutions whilst adding to the beauty of spaces.
