About Project
Away from the hustle bustle of a city, is a golfing village with ample greenery. Inside it, is a home that stands apart with a distinct blue slanting wall, yet fits in. After all, this wall is symbolic of the golfer’s 8-degree stance that becomes the residence’s signature element.
Housing a family that wanted to imbibe slow living, this home is spread across two floors and visually split in two parts by the slanting wall. This wall isn’t just a visual mark, but also plays an important functional role in dividing spaces of the home that allow the living and resting spaces larger footprints. The Banyan Tree in the backyard also becomes a visual connection shaping the orientation of the wall and the design of the home itself.
The 8-degree blue wall, the parabolic roof, and the son’s bedroom are some key highlights of the project.
