Shahjahan Residence

Shahjahan Residence is sprawled over an acre site in Aluva, on the banks of the river Periyar, the house is planned such that numerous beautiful views are framed, connecting the inhabitants to nature at all times. The key highlight of the planning is that each of the walls separating different spaces is placed in a way that while being connected, their privacy is maintained. The architect walks us through this house that blends within nature. This is done via means of material and volume play alongside efficient landscaping.
