About Project
Facing the roaring waves and the calming breeze of Serenity Beach in Pondicherry, this thirty-five-year-old villa was transformed from an old rundown guest house to an eclectic holiday home.
Be it the traditional South Indian touch to the verandah or the Mediterranean vibe of the pool hut, and from the English treatment of the bar to the French narrative in the powder room, Interior Designer aimed to give each space a different aura and make use of the bountiful local talent and craftsmanship to their fullest potential.
With bare minimum civil alterations to the space, this villa beautifully welcomes the design changes made to it while standing strong with its old world charm and heritage quotient. Mindful reconditioning of heritage elements, custom furniture, fine curation of both indoor and outdoor experiences, use of local creative collaborations and a diverse material palette are some key highlights of the project.
