About Project
Nestled amidst lush green vegetation and surrounded by a rich Anglo-Indian heritage, House Reborn stands out for its minimalistic design and the fact that it is re-built on the same grounds where once stood an old bungalow.
Many elements in the house take inspiration from the nature around the house, be it the large double-height intricately painted wall or the flooring patterns throughout the house. A lot of other materials have also been restored from the earlier home, like the flooring or the wood in the furniture and doors.
What makes this project stand out is the way it allows natural daylight to come into every space at all times of the day. Since all the spaces open into the courtyards and the garden around, there is always a wind flow that keeps all these spaces cooler and well-ventilated.
