House of 7 Courts

Located on the outskirts of Mehsana, the House of 7 Courts is a three-bedroom family home based on the principles of passive design that gave rise to 7 courtyards throughout the house. The only physical context in the surrounding was a brick kiln, which was the source of inspiration for the use of bold colors. While moving through the house, one gets a glimpse of the ever-changing pattern of light and shadows due to the verandahs and the courtyards that establish a strong connection with the outdoors.
