Hidden House

In a quiet rural area of Kozhikode, Kerala, the Hidden House rises from the ground like a piece of the ground itself, creating a serene abode away from the bustle of the city. Hidden House’s ironic name, coupled with its unapologetic form, doesn’t mix into the background. There it stands in a rural setting, enticing passersby to marvel at its beauty. Use of simple materials, local craftsmanship, and green roof are some of the key highlights of this project. The Principal Architect walks through the house and explains how he worked out a unique zoning by strategically using the contours of the site.
