Folded House

The architect wanted to create a house that unfolds to its surroundings in a prime residential area of Vadodara. This was achieved by creating spaces within each fold by using minimal materials like concrete and wood. The grand entrance with a huge metal canopy gives a base to the wooden façade within the concrete fold. These folds ensure maximum openness and ventilation as well as protect the interiors from harsh sunlight.
