Floating House

In a rich heritage zone in North Kerala named Feroke, sits a home next to the Chaliyar River that honours the cultural significance of fishing boats on that site. The structure is made to look like floating boats when viewed from the river. Designed as a luxurious family home with 5 bedrooms, Floating House embodies architecture, structure, theatre and drama, all skilfully expressed through pure white volumes of varied scales and proportions. Naturally-lit spaces, cantilevers, and the sculpted central staircase are some of the key highlights of this project.
