About Project
A corner site at the end of a gated colony in Bengaluru presented an opportunity as well as a challenge to the architects, allowing the context to determine the home’s design. Semi-open spaces and large verandas creating a seamless outdoor-indoor transition added to a timeless end-result. One defined by functionality and warmth over the ‘image’ of luxury.
Stacked across four levels, the layout is strategically designed to allow expansive views of the outdoors yet maintain privacy. The natural and earthy material palette allows natural light to play its part - a nostalgic client requirement surfacing from his time spent in IIM Ahmedabad. The lines are clean, and the volumes conceal services skilfully within its structure which adds to the spacious rooms of the home.
The laterite walls, the living room veranda, the diverse Jaisalmer flooring patterns, and the lounge are some key highlights of the project.
