Located in one of the busy residential localities of ECR in Chennai, this home is surrounded by a lush green landscape contributing to the tranquil ambience of the house. One is greeted by a lily pond flanked by a terracotta jali which allows evaporative cooling, bringing down the temperature inside the house. Inspired by traditional homes, this abode also boasts of a sloping roof which is punctured by windows thus helping in keeping the house cool. Wooden furniture, hardwood shutters, wide open spaces and abundant natural light inside the house are some key highlights of the project.
