Located in the context of river Tapi in Surat, Angan House is an experiment of various textures, patterns, and colors. The clients wanted a warm and relaxed, contemporary aesthetic interior in white tones. The identity of the exposed plaster walls is to visually connect both the floors throughout the double-height. Its presence in the living areas of the two levels where the family would spend time would also mean it would subconsciously create a sense of cohesiveness between floors and spaces.
