Aarti Villas

The architect has always believed in designing spaces that have a distinct character and design language and which respond to their surroundings; Aarti Villas is the perfect example of just that. It is designed to have the characteristics of royalty in a contemporary way while providing the basics of privacy, light, and ventilation. The architect took up the challenge of designing a very contemporary house for the owners belonging to a royal family. Even though the site was in a dense commercial neighborhood, he was able to achieve privacy in the house through a large stone screen that envelops the house. This ever-changing stone screen is what adds life to the interiors with its play of light and shadow.The material palette is also selected keeping opulence in mind. White marble, stone, exposed concrete, and custom-made lights adorn the different spaces in the house. Multiple spaces have been designed where the occupants can have leisure time and spend their evenings.
