Humming Tree

Humming Tree is an architectural collaborative based in Calicut, Kerala for Art I Architecture I Urbanism. Operating in the fields of design & research, the company was established in 2016 and currently stands under the creative direction of the two founders Mohammed Afnan and Arun Shekar. The studio constantly explores architectural quintessence by measuring projects on their impact and inclusive dialogue among context, geometry, and visual expression. Our work is branded by its versatility in solving intricate programs by understanding user needs, context & materiality as a whole. The studio further stands by showing a considerable sensitivity to time to integrate the new with the already existing, highlighting the detailed qualities of our environment.
